New attorneys often have many questions when they are starting to practice law. Join white-collar criminal defense attorney Vikas S. Dhar as he co-hosts a program for new practitioners, “Practical Advice for New Practitioners: What Do New Attorneys Need to Know to More Effectively Practice Law?”. This program will give attorneys who are new to practicing law the chance to avail themselves of the knowledge and experience of 4 experienced attorneys and a Superior Court judge.
Presenters include Attorney Vikas S. Dhar, Hon. Anthony Campo, Superior Court, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Eron Hackshaw, Boston University School of Law, Ashlee Logan, Office of the Inspector General, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and Nicole Paquin, moderator. The topics that will be discussed include criminal prosecution and criminal defense, civil litigation, government practice, mediation preparation, and transactional law. Rather than waste time going on detours when you have a question about practicing law, the program offers new practitioners tried and tested strategies used by experienced attorneys to represent clients effectively.
Early registration is recommended for the program, which will take place on Wednesday, March 31st between 4-6 pm. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
