Nathan Boddie of R.I. was sentenced to seven years in prison and three years of supervised release, in Boston Federal Cour. Boddie was initially indicted by a federal grand jury alongside alleged co-conspirators Denise Guyette and Gerardo Garza in February 2023. He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances such as Methamphetamine and Fentanyl.

Boddie was arrested in February 2023 during a traffic stop where law enforcement discovered a loaded 9mm ghost gun and methamphetamine concealed in his possession. A subsequent search of his residence uncovered more drugs and fake IDs.

In total, over 16 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 700 grams of counterfeit prescription pills containing fentanyl was seized over the course of the investigation.
