The panel discussion will explain the mechanics and process utilized by the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Office of International Affairs in pursuing extradition in federal criminal cases. It will also include the many challenges faced by defense attorneys defending individuals involved in extradition proceedings. The panel will also include a prosecutor’s perspective in discussing the recent case of U.S. v. Taylor, related to the Carlos Ghosn/Japanese extradition matter.
