Wassem Amin is a Law Clerk at Dhar Law, LLP. Entering his third year of law school at New England Law|Boston, Wassem finished his second year with a GPA of 3.84, ranking in the top 1% of his class. Wassem is an Editor of the New England Law Review and has received the Trustee Academic Scholarship, awarded to the student with the highest cumulative GPA, New England Scholar's Award two years in a row, Cali Awards for highest course grades in Law and Ethics of Lawyering and Securities Regulation, and the Dean's List Award for all semesters. During his first and second year in Law School, Wassem participated in the American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition and received first place overall at New England both times. Wassem is active in school organizations and is currently serving as the Vice President of the International Law Society at New England Law.
As part of his pro bono initiatives, Wassem is planning on establishing an international non-profit to aid in the reformation of his home country, Egypt. His efforts have been featured by his law school in an article, which can be read here: http://www.nesl.edu/media/news.cfm?newsDetailID=3955.
Prior to working at Dhar Law, LLP, Wassem was an intern at a high volume Personal Injury Firm in Boston, MA where he gained extensive experience in aspects of civil litigation.
Before enrolling in Law School, Wassem received his Master's in Business and a Bachelor's in Business with a concentration in Finance, both from Husson University in Bangor, ME.
Wassem also has experience in International Business Consulting and has worked as an International Business Consultant for over 5 years. As a a business constultant, Wassem focused his practice on procuring and negotiating multi-million dollar contracts for American clients in the Middle East.
Wassem is fluent in Arabic.
