Tracy L. Greene

Tracy L. Greene, an experienced trial lawyer and former prosecutor, focuses her practice on criminal defense and appellate issues. 

Ms. Greene is the principal of the Law Office of Tracy L. Greene in Brockton, Massachusetts.  Ms. Greene was formerly an attorney at a mid-level Boston law firm, where she performed high-end defense work focusing in Massachusetts' Federal, Superior Courts and District Courts, as well as the Massachusetts Appeals Court.  In addition to her own case load, she performed litigation support for several of that firm's partners, including a former Assistant U. S. Attorney and a former Massachusetts District Court judge.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Greene served as an Assistant District Attorney for Plymouth County for four years.  As a prosecutor, she handled a variety of cases that included firearms offenses, narcotics cases and violent crimes, and was lead counsel in numerous jury and jury waived trials in the Hingham, Brockton and Plymouth courts. 

Subsequent to her graduation from law school, Ms. Greene had the opportunity to work as a law clerk for the judges in the Juvenile Court system, where she conducted legal research and drafted judicial decisions.  While in law school, Ms. Greene interned for the Honorable Isaac Borenstein (ret.) of the Superior Court, for whom she wrote judicial decisions and orders. 

Ms. Greene earned her J.D. from New England School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  She is admitted to practice before the state courts of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  She is a member of the Plymouth Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association, and is a licensed real estate broker.
