Dhar Law, LLP has recently obtained an order of pre-trial probation for a university student named as a co-defendant in a state criminal complaint.  Our client, a foreign national holding Russian and Israeli dual citizenship, is an honors student at a major local university, pursuing a degree in business administration.  The allegations involved two charges in connection with an assault, in which our client was the true victim.  He reported to law enforcement that he attempted to peacefully resolve an altercation between other university students, but he himself was charged i

Dhar Law, LLP has recently successfully defended a soldier named as a defendant in a felony complaint.  The allegations involved multiple charges in connection with a state law enforcement investigation.  After lengthy pre-trial negotiations, our defense team prevailed in convincing the government to dismiss one of the three charges, and to amend the remaining two charges to simple civil infractions.  Had our client plead guilty to any of the charges, he would have been rendered ineligible for entry into U.S. Army Special Forces.  He now maintains a clean record.
