Dhar Law, LLP Prevails in Jury Trial

Friday, August 26, 2011 - 11:25

Dhar Law, LLP prevails in a Suffolk County jury trial for a commercial airline pilot named as a defendant in a major felony case.  The allegations involved multiple charges in connection with a state law enforcement investigation.  Our client, an airline Station Manager at Boston’s Logan International Airport, was a decorated commercial pilot and instructor with commendations from international business executives.  He had earned unrestricted Department of Homeland Security field access to Logan Airport’s most sensitive areas based to his stature with a private airline.  His access and clearance was also based on authorization from TSA, MassPort and Customs and Border Protection.

The case went to trial in August 2011, and after the jury was sent to deliberate, an acquittal was rendered in less than fifteen minutes.  He maintains a clean record.  Vikas S. Dhar served as lead trial counsel, and was assisted in pre-trial proceedings by associate Michael N. Bozza.
