Dylan Hayre focuses his practice on criminal defense, housing law, and family law.
Prior to joining Dhar Law, LLP, Dylan founded Lawyer for Soldiers, a solo law practice that offered low-bono legal representation to veterans and military families. Before that, he served the Commonwealth as an Assistant District Attorney. Dylan continues to counsel and advise on local and statewide policy initiatives that impact veterans and military families, and works with organizations and nonprofits to build veteran-focused missions.
Dylan is also an active volunteer in his community. He has served as Chair of both the Natick Council on Aging and the Natick Democratic Town Committee, and continues to serve as a member of Natick Town Meeting and as Co-Chair of the state Democratic party's Affirmative Action & Outreach Subcommittee. Dylan also ran for state Senate in 2014, and has volunteered or worked on a number of campaigns at the local, state, and national level.
Dylan combines all of this experience to be a forceful, thoughtful, and passionate advocate for his clients. Dylan works closely with clients throughout their case to ensure that they have a strategy to obtain a positive resolution, that they understand all their options, and that their rights are protected.
He is a graduate of Belmont Hill School, Boston College (B.A., Mathematics), Boston College's Lynch School of Education (M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction), and Boston College Law School (J.D.). He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts. When he's not practicing at Dhar Law, you can find Dylan training in mixed martial arts, hiking with his dog Harper, or chatting with friends at a local car show.
