Audrey C. Murillo
We had been aware of Audrey's disarmingly charming personality since her law school days, over a decade ago. While waiting for her qualifications to catch up to her talents, we witnessed her growth from intern to law clerk to full-on criminal/immigration specialist. Her past work experience included stints at a large Boston litigation firm and as a defense attorney at the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS). We were finally able to persuade her to join our ranks in 2010, and never looked back.
Audrey specializes in unique cases where both criminal/immigration are components (commonly known as "crimmigration"), representing clients in criminal trials as well as before USCIS and nationwide Immigration Courts. Fluent in Spanish, she provides the backbone of our immigration team in family-based adjustment matters, including removal defense, consular processing, visas, waivers, employment benefits and appeals at the Board of Immigration Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Always keen on helping kids involved in the justice system, Audrey has become a darling of the local legal community. She frequently treats us to lunch at her husband's critically acclaimed Boston restaurant where he is the executive chef, so we feel her position at the firm is fairly secure.
